Meet Our Fantastic New Assistant Kendra!!!

I was born in southwest Kansas but moved to Colorado from Wisconsin about 8 years ago. Before joining the Cedar Mountain team, I attended Colorado School of Dental Assisting and worked as an assistant for an orthodontist. I have been married to my husband, Cale, and have been living in Castle Rock for five years. We enjoy cooking, watching movies, and sight-seeing together. Cale and I have a cat, Lily, and a dog, Otis. Those two are always doing something silly or trying to get me to take a nap with them. I love talking about my pets and hearing about yours, too. I enjoy reading, listening to music, hiking, hanging-out with friends and family, and laughing. If you know a good joke, I'd like to hear it so I can mess up the punch line later.

Here are before and after shots of my last denture case.  We made a full upper denture and a lower partial denture.  He didn't stop smiling the entire way out of the office. 

I just love watching these cases unfold and seeing the change a new smile can make in someones life.

Our Awesome New Hygienist: Meet Lindsay Williams

Lindsay joined Cedar Mountain Family Dentistry in January 2012.  She has over 10 years of experience in the dental field and received her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in 2003. Prior to that, she worked as a Sterilization Technician and also gained a little experience in Dental Assisting. Lindsay is dedicated to providing her patients with the best dental experience. She is gentle yet thorough, and has experience with people of all ages. She holds a high standard of excellence when providing individualized dental care. Her overall goal is to provide patients with the knowledge to achieve optimal oral health.

Lindsay and her husband have two children, 2 and 5 years old. She and her family spend lots of time enjoying the outdoors. In the winter, they are usually snowboarding and gathering with family for outings.  In the summer, they are usually camping, fishing and wakeboarding. Lindsay enjoys running and anything to do with fitness, but most of all she enjoys spending time with her family.

We have our first big change of the year with the addition of our new dental hygienist: Lindsey Williams.  She has been a wonderful addition to our team and we look forward to having each of our patients meet her.  Stay tuned for a "get to know you" post soon to come.
